Influence of the Antituberculous Drugs upon Intestinal Parasite Preliminary Report, Influence upon Nemthelminthes

Abstract
Among the cases of pulmonary tuberculosis treated by chemotherapy, the rate of the cases found to be without parasite ova to the total cases were greater than among other diseases.
Also among the cases of pulmonary tuberculosis treated by chemotherapy, the cases found to have the ova of anchylostoma and trichuris were of less parcentage than among other diseases.
Twenty-nine cases of pulmonary tuberculosis were studied at the admission for parasite, and then, administered with ordinary dosis of the antituberculous drugs, 3 months later, the following results were observed.

Ten volunteers who were proved to have parasite ovas were given with 20 gm. Of PAS, 5 gm. of SM and 2 gm. of INH orally.After 3 hours they were alss given 25 gm. of Mag. sulfate with water. Their stools were examined and detected only 3 Ascaris worms in 2 patients.
